Daguerreian Equipment

Following up on the site redesign I have added a section to show the specialist equipment I use to make my Daguerreotypes. If this is of interest to you, more can be seen of the genre on the galleries page at Contemporarydaguerreotypes.info (community website I helped set up). I hope to add more items, but probably not till I am back home and set up in New Zealand in a month or two (currently In Ireland as my wife has a writers residency here for 6 months - hence the lush green background to some of the images).

Contemporary Daguerreotypes

Newly redesigned the website now for-fills a long held goal - to present my own Daguerreotypes in the enclosures I make. Currently I am working on a new series of mercury developed images but in the meantime here are my finished images to date
