Band Case Style
These have two raised bands, hence the attributed name, and were first patented in 1855 by Henry A. Eichmeyer of Philadelphia, USA. The case has a elegant external book-clasp closure (two for larger cases) and is rounded on the long sides of the cases. Consequently, for strength in the corner joints, the side rails are slightly thicker. Available in a range of standard colors.
Made to standard formats or to custom requirements (for a quotation please contact Alan).
