Boston Case Style
A Boston case has rounded corners and thicker side rails (to stengthen corner joints), which are covered with textured and varnished leather. The cover boards are also thicker and more domed than other cases and are covered with black goatskin leather. Strengthening the spine are hand-made brass pipe hinges characteristic of this style, as is the internal clasp with a brass push-button.
These are made to standard formats (for prices and ordering information click here) or to custom requirements (for a quotation please contact CasedImage.com). |
